The Power Brow

Posted by Blair de Jong on

Have you ever heard the saying ‘brows on fleek’ and thought what the heck does that even mean? Let us tell you.

Eyebrows are the new cheekbones. Or the new lipstick. Or the new booty. The thicker and fuller your brows, the better.

So what’s all the fuss about? Your eyebrows, not unlike your lashes, frame your eyes and can have a dramatic effect on your entire look. The shape of your eyebrows can also help balance out the rest of your features.

Who’s rocking the power brow these days? Everyone from Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Connelly to Kylie Jenner and Cara Delavingne are putting mega-arches on the map.

But what happens if you weren’t born with strong brows or you’ve overplucked? Well, pencils and powders can do wonders to up your power brow game, however Plume Lash and Brow Serum can actually help with regrowth. Our serum is not only great for the health of your eyelashes, it can also be used to develop fuller thicker brows. The same nourishing plant based ingredients that help your lashes grow will do the same for those beautiful brows you’ve been dreaming of.

Here are some other tips to help you achieve the power brow:

Line Up
The front of your brow should align with the upper bridge of your nose.

Brush Up
Brush your brows upward with a Spoolie brush.

Tweeze stray hairs below the arch only. Never tweeze above the brow.

Fill & Trim
Fill in any open spaces and trim hairs that are noticeably longer.

Apply the same techniques to your other brow for a symmetrical look.
