Best I’ve found that is twist advance/doesn’t need to be sharpened. It applies smoothly, though care is necessary not to expose too much of the tip or apply too much pressure to prevent a piece breaking off. Have used for several years in combination with brow gel. Willing to pay the price (sales whenever possible), having switched entirely to clean cosmetics.

These used to be great, now they don't retract or hold properly so they break all the time and a lot of product gets wasted. I go through them much too fast as a result. I was on a subscription for them but I unfortunately have to cancel it. I love Plume, especially the lash serum, but I can't keep using this pencil.

I've been using the Ashy DayBreak eyebrow pencil for over a year now. I don't have ANY eyebrows to speak of, and you really can't tell with Plume's pencil! ALSO, I have chemical sensitivities which make me itch with most other brands. This one's free of all the toxic ingredients.

These are all photos of Day 1 brows to compare colour (not hair growth). As a natural dark blonde, my gut instinct was to go with Ashy Daybreak. Then I noticed that a lot of people with hair darker than mine would use Ashy Daybreak for a subtler look, so I was curious to try and recreate that look for myself. I got a Golden Silk pencil with some Ashy Daybreak refills. The Golden Silk looked “green” to me online, but I realized later that, as someone with lots of red pigment in their skin, the green undertones in Golden Silk help to keep it looking “cool” on my skin (other pencils end up looking reddish/orange on me). Honestly, I think the differences between the two colours are subtle—I really only notice them during application: in the yellow bathroom lighting, Golden Silk is so light that it’s hard to see while I put it on, it almost blends into my skin. I only notice a difference when step back. The Ashy Daybreak is more obvious during application, it’s significantly darker. I like to lightly “sketch” on my eyebrows, if I pushed down harder, then the Ashy Daybreak may become overwhelming. I like both colours, I think I still prefer Ashy Daybreak but I think Golden Silk is more forgiving during application, kind of like the difference between a 6H and 2B pencil, for the artists out there! Overall, the Ashy Daybreak seems more brown-pigmented.

I have been using this product for over two years. Overall I have been happy with it and don't use any other brow product aince I started with plume. However, I use it correctly and the recommended way, but there are some packages recently that seem to last less than a week. I haven't used it any more/differently than usual. Pretty disappointed there. Overall I will keep using it. Really appreciate that it is a vegan product since that is important to me.

I use the ashy daybreak eyebrow defines. It’s a perfect colour for me, applies very smoothly. Also the eyelash enhancer appears to work, my lashes appear thicker generally, and I think they are longer, I’m older. The lash growth slowed down and lashes were not growing noticeably. It’s a lovely product.

I've been using Ashy daybreak for over a year and have purchased this for my sisters and mother I love it that much. I purchase the refills and have had some bad luck with a few packs where I feel like the refill lasts a week or minimal uses. I know the pencil is soft but this felt like a defect. I decided to purchase the pomade this time along with refills to ensure I have back up in the cartridge fails. I will email customer service if I have this trouble with my current supply.

I have no eyebrows of my own, so I have been using eyebrow pencils forever! I am limited in what I can use, because I am allergic to chemicals. When I find one I'm not allergic to, it usually is too hard, or too soft, or too dark. I LOVE THE ASHY DAYBREAK pencil from Plume! It goes on smoothly, doesn't cause a rash, and looks soooo natural. My perfect brow pencil. It's a soft, matte crayon texture that blends easily and the color is very natural (I use the chestnut). I really appreciate they made it refillable - less waste and more affordable over time. There are no harsh ingredients, no irritation. I love the low waste intent behind this product and the actual product itself. It doesn’t come out shiny, I would say use a light hand to get the best results. It also helps your eyebrows grow, which is pretty cool, so you need to use it less and less. I loved it so much you got a refill pack. Easy to take off used component and put on new refill.

It can be frustrating when you are lucky enough to appear much younger than you are but then your brows are barely apparent anymore and not only does this take away from your eyes, the window to the soul, but also makes us look older and more "spare." This product really helps and it feels like I am not doing anything bad to my skin as so many other products have felt in the past. And on top of that, this is a slow steady return to complete brows!

The 2-pack refill is convenient and eco friendly. The shipping was fast too. Ashy Daybreak matches by brows perfectly for summer when I have blonde highlights in my brunette hair. I also use Chocolate Decedance and Cinnamon Cashmere and I have the pomade in all three colors too. Plume products make my brows look great!

Love this brow pencil! I tried the pencil first and loved it so much that I ordered refills and brow pomade immediately. It’s super easy to use, glides on and looks perfect all day. I also like using the darker shade pencil to line the bottom part of my brows and fill in with pomade.

This is THE best brow pencil I've tried and I've honestly tried them all (Anastasia, Bobbi Brown, Benefit, NYX, Zuzuluxe, Alima Pure...). The tip is so fine and the perfect consistency to build and fill in your brows in the most natural and flattering way possible. Not only that, but this truly does help with re-growing brow hairs. I had a bald spot in my brows at the end of last year that has completely grown back in, thanks to this amazing pencil! I love how eco friendly it is with the refills - super easy to change out.
